Popup Browser & Windowed Browser

In Arborea there are multiple ways you can browse assets and tools. The docked window browser and the quick popup browser.

The layouts of the both browsers are essentially the same, and both work the same as well.

The Sidebar

Here you will find the categories and filters to help sort through the asset library.

Favorites

In Arborea you can star your favorite assets. Doing this will have these assets also show up in the favorites category for quick access.

Clicking the Star icon at the top of the categories sidebar will enable “Show Favorites First” which when enabled all favorited assets will be sorted to the top of each category first so you can access them quicker.

The Tool Browser

In the Arborea browser there is also a Tools & Generators section where you will find all of the geometry tools and generators. You can find more info on this HERE

The Top Bar

Here you will find the import options such as

Spawn at:

  • World origin - Spawns imported asset at world origin

  • 3D cursor - Spawns imported asset at 3D cursor

Import Type:

  • Append - Imports a local copy of the asset into your current project.

  • Linked - References the asset from its original file, keeping it updated externally. (quickest method & saves memory)

Collection

  • Arborea Collections - This will use Arboreas default asset organization.

  • Active Collection - This will import the asset into whatever the active collection is

Scattering from the Browser

In the Arborea browser you can also scatter directly from the browser. You can find more info on this HERE
