Instances
Camera Culling improves viewport and render performance by hiding instances that are outside the camera's view. Select the camera to use in the camera selection and enable the culling options
Camera FOV - lets you expand or contract the culling range beyond the default camera view.
Resolution - Match this to your camera resolution to have accurate culling. Use the sync resolution button to automatically use your cameras resolution.
Distance Culling
Distance Culling lets you limit scatter distribution based on how far it is from the camera. You can define a max distance for scattering and use the Falloff setting to smoothly fade out density
Distance Scaling
Distance Scaling allows you to scale up or down your instances the further they get from the camera. This is really good for faking density if used in combination with the distance culling falloff.
Min & Max scale - This is the scale range of your instances.
Scale Start & End - Use these to control where the scaling starts and ends. Anything between the camera and scaling start will not change in scale, and anything after the scaling end distance will remain the max height.
Offset
This allows you to translate your entire system as a whole. This is useful for things like when you need to move your system up or down to line up with displacement.
Edit Instances
This section is where you can edit, add, or remove any instances in your system. If you select a system in this list it will select in the outliner.
Show Material Properties - This brings up the material popup that allows you to edit the materials for the selected instance.
Combine Duplicate Materials - By default when importing systems from the arborea browser, each material will be single user end edit individually. Clicking "Combine Duplicate Materials" will detect and merge identical materials across all instances, allowing you to edit them together as one shared material.
Add Selected Objects - This will add any selected objects into the active scatter system. You can also click the remove instance button (Trash can) to remove any instance from the system as well.
